  To become a MEMBER of COSCAPA:
Applicants must fulfill all of the following criteria:
  1. All M.A. level coursework must be completed, with only the thesis in some aspect of archaeology remaining.
  2. The individual must have recognized research interest in South Carolina
  3. The individual’s primary professional application must be in the practice of archaeology in South Carolina
  To become an Associate Member of COSCAPA:
An individual must fall into at least one of the following categories:
  1. Be a recognized professional with the ability to supply input to archaeological problems;
  2. Be a non-archaeologist with administrative affiliations to the field of archeology;
  3. Be an archaeologist with occasional research interests in the state;
  4. Be a graduate student in Anthropology at a South Carolina University.
  Application for membership:
Applicants should submit a letter of intent, a current vita, and a letter of recommendation from a current full member of COSCAPA, to:

Membership approval is contingent upon acceptance by the Membership Committee, and a vote of the council membership.


  Dues:
Dues are annual and should be given to the Treasurer. See Officers for contact information.
      Members: $20.00
      Associate Members: $10.00
