To become a MEMBER of COSCAPA: |
Applicants must fulfill all of the following criteria:
- All M.A. level coursework must be completed, with only the thesis in some aspect of archaeology remaining.
- The individual must have recognized research interest in South Carolina
- The individual’s primary professional application must be in the practice of archaeology in South Carolina

To become an Associate Member of COSCAPA: |
An individual must fall into at least one of the following categories:
- Be a recognized professional with the ability to supply input to archaeological problems;
- Be a non-archaeologist with administrative affiliations to the field of archeology;
- Be an archaeologist with occasional research interests in the state;
- Be a graduate student in Anthropology at a South Carolina University.

Application for membership: |
Applicants should submit a letter of intent, a current vita, and a letter of recommendation from a current full member of COSCAPA, to:

Membership approval is contingent upon acceptance by the Membership Committee, and a vote of the council membership.
